Fin is still the coolest and we need more of his antics. These This is hesrt 9th book in the Elemental Assassin series. Until this book that is.
Heart of Venom
Gin truly shined in this book, how hard she fought to save Sophia, and her determination to end Grimes and Hazel forever, just made me love her even more. I did really enjoy delving into Jo-Jo’s and Sophia’s backgrounds more.
I have missed jennife Owen, who seems to have lost himself in the last jenjifer books, and seeing him back to his old self was wonderful. But with a new group of Reapers and mythological monsters on the rise, Rory is the only one who can save her academy.
There is so much action in this book! It was like Owen was just settling for Gin because 1. Jul 13, Karissa rated it really liked it.
Book Review: Jennifer Estep’s Heart of Venom – KD Did It Edits
The fact that he was stupid enough to fall for evul Salina made him seem dumb and idiotic. I think the next book is meant to be a kind of prequel of sorts but I don’t think it’ll offer much to the series as a whole.
Cooper is learning new tricks. It would have solved the problem nicely. View all 29 comments. veno,

Apr 04, Karla rated it it was amazing Shelves: This is one of the better books of the series. They are supposed to be awesome together. I did like getting more Cooper and definitely more Warren Overall a great addition to the series which has rapidly become one of my favorite UFs.
The “constuction flaws” were so glaringly obvious in some parts that I just couldn’t overlook it like I normally do – especially with Urban fantasy – for example my biggest pee 1,5 stars. Even so, I love this series! The loss of villain Mab Monroe left this series in need of a big bad villain.
The fact that Gin favors fire power over her trademark blades in this installment further reinforces her fragile emotional state by demonstrating her willingness to throw caution into the wind and let stealth be dammed.
Posted October 22, by Kathy Davie in Book Reviews I received this book for free from my own shelves in exchange for an honest review.
Gin really has estsp work cut out for her but she has some stellar sidekicks to help her save the day. With her emotions still raw from the rejection of Owen, Gin traverses her feelings for those she loves including Owen.
I thought you were going to make things okay. Well, more like rinse and repeat when you moonlight as the assassin the Spider. Books by Jennifer Estep. I was very happy with the way he handled things!
Tell us what you like, so we can send you books you’ll love. Gin is able to get away, get healed up, rest up and come up with another plan and then the final battle takes place. Just concentrate enough – really, totally works, look at the little guy in the Darth Vader costume who made the lights in his Daddy’s car shine with the power of the force Gin lets her fears, emotions, love and protectiveness rule her, pushing the calm and calculating parts of her back and throwing herself in the fight heart first It was very surprising to Gin that when a girl night at the spa with mimosas and bonbons turned into a shootout and kidnapping, she was not the one who was targeted.
How she totally focussed and became even more bad ass – just with focussing.
But somehow, Harley Grimes missed the memo. And because it’s the Devaraux sisters it made it that much more personal. It was a fun extra and got me psyched for the next novel where we get to go back in time and witness the making of the assassin, The Spider. All that matters is that Sophia is safe and that the bad guys die an awful death. Review posted on Badass Book Reviews.
