Grand Central Publishing June 19, Language: These items are shipped from and sold by different sellers. I snapped this book up because I’d enjoyed Good Grief and parts of the story continue to come back to me, so Lolly Winston’s next was a definite buy.

How should we react when we don’t get what we want in life? The characters in this book were lollu. I felt it difficult to connect with the characters and their poor decision making, and I was so sad for Toby.
I thought this was a really great chick lit type book.

Open Preview See a Problem? After reading the first few chapters of “Good Grief” before it mysteriously disappearedI thought I would read all of Lolly Winston’s work and she could become a new favorite author.
Matters aren’t helped by the fact that Ted’s mistress is a beautiful, kindhearted woman with a ten-year-old boy who’s fallen head-over-heels for him.
The character i liked the most was Toby. Winston presents the issue of infertility very well here and I discovered it was a much more complex situation than I knew.
These are some of the questions that I thought about while reading it: Because he is so angry and lashing out in rage about his parent situation and his bad school situation. This is another book about infertility and the stresses it puts on a marriage much like “Waiting for Daisy” except this lollt fiction.
When Elinor discovers that her husband Ted is having an affair, she is hurt, but not entirely surprised, given everything they’ve been through lately. sepafately
In the end, it is both sad and sweet to realize that Elinor truly does love Ted. Elinor is devastated, yet not entirely surprised. These characters are intelligent. Winston Good Grief adroitly makes it dold that Ted’s affair is a symptom: Hate this book something awful.
Our Father sees us in color. That’s why the kid Toby is living with Gina now. I understood why they behaved the way they did. I liked this book a lot – maybe some of the actions of characters at times were far fetched, but still the most intriguing character was the woman who wanted to have a baby.

I really liked the plot of this book, I found Elinor to be a very kolly character The three main characters were so self-absorbed that I almost expected them to be on their Twitter accounts throughout the book. My friend read it at the same time as I, and she loved the ending.
All of the characters with the exception of Gina are very human, flawed and real. Author Lolly Winston has an uncommonly deft touch while dealing with some of life’s heaviest topics.
