It’s not really fair or constructive, but it w Video review found here http: The entire story about Omar falling in love with her, followed by Ruby loathing her, was just ridiculous, cringey and entirely unnecessary. The bitchy girliness that was ffever was spot on as I know all too well how girl can be best friends and then suddenly awful to each other with a shuoman of the fingers.
The romance was very monotonous and unrealistic. Heck, my best friend of six years turned suddenly on my one day for no reason.

Of course that all goes down in flames on the last page of the book. Once again, this book was a case of me being completely won over by the shiny, attractive cover – I just thought that it looked gorgeous. I’m about to start Delirium so hopefully that will be better, but I was really disappointed by Fever: Sethos Leontis, a skilled and mesmerising fighter, is unexpectedly wounded and lies dangerously close to death.
And man it didn’t let me down! It took forever for it to actually start having some consistent story and sense.

I do realise that there is certainly potential to see their relationship develop in the next two books and I look forward to seeing how it all pans out. Delirium picks up right after Fever and to be honest the plot isn’t that different. Seth and Eva are classic example of insta-love. She’s never ridden a horse before, but she can gallop instantly.
Seth was alright until he fevfr Eva.

If you do decide to start the series, I’d recommend finishing on the first one, if you don’t want to be disappointed. I t’s fair to say that I absolutely adored Fever, the first book in this series — I remember the exact day I started it, and the exact day I finished it, and the overwhelming frustration I felt with the unanswered questions, and with the long, long wait until the second novel.

Shulmzn fearless Roman gladiator. I’m not sure what I would think of the ‘temperamental pacing’ though.
