Maybe that’s because I didn’t read the first book? But not a whole lot happened here. Ralph meets Julian at a club. It’s insta-love for Julian. At first Ralph blows Julian off, but then Julian saves Ralph from a creepy guy in the bathrooms and he warms up.
Then we watch the two men fall in love, the end. There wasn’t a lot of conflict or plot. I’m not going to r I’m not really sure what to say about this one.
I’m not going to recommend or not recommend this book because I didn’t read the first book in this series. This one left me quite confused. Coloring Outside the Lines is a quite simple story about Ralph, dericvi photographer and Julian, a cop. When Julian sees Ralph, he is immediately falling for the young man who is a little reluctant to rericci pushy Julian into his life.
I still enjoyed reading this story and I will definitely have a look at the first installment of this series. I love the cover! This is the second book in the Different Paths To Love series, but can easily be read as a standalone. Ralph really was hoping to have a better 35th birthday, alas he’s in a bar with his friend Tony and Brandon xericci book 1having a good pity party until a hot, sexy and persistent Julian sets his sights on him.

Diana DeRicci – Sizzle That Satisfies
Ralph isn’t too thrilled at first, but Julian shows himself to This is the second book in the Different Paths To Love series, but can easily be read as a standalone. Ralph isn’t too thrilled at first, but Julian shows himself to be not only be good looking but also a really nice guy too.
I found this one to be a very easy and sweet read. Lots of sexual tension but not a lot of sex, and I liked both of these guys. They moved fast in to love-territory but I bought it and the issues that came up were dealt with without drama or angst. It’s a great, light, feel-good read for in between darker or heavier books. View all 3 comments. Feb 25, Riina Y. It’s engaging, funny, light on the angst and heavy on the whole love thingy ; Romance is the word.
Most of all I enjoyed the humor in Julian and god he’s sweet! It’s Ralph’s 35th Birthday and the guy wasn’t very excited when he was approached by a hot and sexy Julian who turns out to be a cop. Now if that alone isn’t intimidating?
But since Ralph isn’t the flirty kinda guy and just wanted to hang out with his friends Tony and Brandon, whom we both met in book one, his mood turned more and more sour being chatted up quite boldly. After an incident with some random A-hole in the bathroom where Julian comes to the rescue Ralph might change his mind about the guy and at least try to enjoy his night out the best he can Said A-hole isn’t done with Ralph though, and becomes quite a problem later on, while our reluctant photographer is bonding sweetly with Mr.
Besides being a sweet and sexy cop, I absolutely loved his boldness with Ralph at the club. Since he isn’t the player kinda guy it made it all the more appealing that he went overboard just to get Ralph. I’m a sucker for love at first sight. Dec 29, Karen rated it liked it Shelves: While it was by no means spectacular.
I liked the characters and would have loved more detail and depth to the plot. The characters did intrigue me and I thought they honestly had strong potential for a longer and fuller story. But all in all a nice light read. Dec 15, V rated it really liked it. I liked this sequel much more than book one.
The cover is divine. Dec 19, multitaskingmomma rated it it was ok Shelves: In that first book, this flamboyant Ralph was hilarious, was happy-go-lucky and hyper talented as a photographer. Then we have here his very own book and the Ralph we knew then is not the Ralph we know now.
I guess we did color his character based on that first book for this one took me for a surpris Original Blog Post: I guess we did color his character based on that first book for this one took me for a surprise. There was something Ralph had hidden and now we get to see it and just – gasp! It is this same surprise that got him into trouble with his ex and which opens this book to his birthday – woe!
It is also here he meets up and falls into lust with Julian, an openly gay cop who was out with his gay and straight friends at the very same bar. They share glances, they share a few lines, the ex steps in, something happens in the restroom and Julian gets hunky-alpha and just takes Ralph home. Then just like that, the secret is revealed. Where do I go from here?
I was really expecting more. All I really got from this is a very short, light, light, light read laced with a bit of man on man loving, a bit of drama, a bit of boom!
Doing Love Right
I guess idana seeing the title, I was expecting more color within the lines or even outside of it? Oct 04, Lelyana rated it liked it Shelves: This is the kind of book you want to read in your holiday. The drama was not over the top, it was just But I really wish I could give more star if Ralph act like his own age 35 instead of acting like a teenage schoolboy. And Julian’s constant calling Diaba “sugar”, was too sugar coated for my taste. I could catch diabetes if I meet Julian in real life.
But if guys looking something light, overly sweetwith a low angst, this book might be for you.
It was a fun light read on my week This is the kind of book you want to read in your holiday. It was a fun light read on my weekend though. Swimming pool read helped me finished this book. Nov 11, Katrina Passick Lumsden rated it it was ok.
Didn’t really understand the point of this one. Dec 30, T. Smith rated it really liked it. This is the second book in a series, but stands well on its own. But Ralph is not easily swayed by suave one liners, no matter how attractive Julian may be. Ralph is g This is the second book in a series, but stands well on its own. Julian latches onto Ralph immediately and refuses to let go! He runs of the shoddy ex and the unwanted advances of an overzealous bar fly in hopes of getting a little closer to blonde photographer.
